Meet Dan, our seasoned leader at Marshall & Co. Having joined us initially in 2005, he ventured to London to refine his skills in audit, becoming a Chartered Certified Accountant by 2010. Returning in 2014, Dan now orchestrates our day-to-day operations, specializing in providing strategic tax and commercial guidance to our diverse clientele. With a focus on personal taxation, he adeptly navigates complexities for self-employed individuals, buy-to-let investors, and high net worth portfolios.

Introducing Emma Marshall, our esteemed Fellow Chartered Accountant and Practice Founder. With a BA in Accounting & Law and an MBA under her belt, Emma's journey began with KPMG in Manchester, where she earned her Chartered Accountant title in 1993. Subsequently, she founded Marshall & Co, igniting a trajectory of growth and success. Emma's expertise spans across various services, from accounting to forensic analysis. As a member of The Society of Will Writers, she extends her guidance to estate planning and probate administration, ensuring comprehensive client support.

Carrie-Ann joined the firm in 2019, having already worked in the industry for a number of years prior. She has extensive experience working within senior finance roles and so has a strong understanding of the internal pressures that businesses face every single day. Carrie-Ann deals with sole traders, partnerships and small to medium-sized limited companies. She is also Quickbooks and Xero accredited.

Jackie has many years of experience dealing with all payroll matters and has extensive knowledge of the PAYE system, dealing with HMRC, compliance with Auto Enrolment and employment rights, offering a timely and efficient service to all our payroll clients.

Thuva joined Marshall and Co in 2024 and is currently training towards his ACCA qualification. He prepares statutory account for a small to medium sized Limited Companies as well as assisting with other areas of the practice.

Claire joined Marshall & Co in 2003 and oversees the firm’s practice management and accounts production process, as well as managing her own portfolio of clients. She has day to day contact with her clients and understands the commercial pressures that modern businesses face. Claire is our in-house Sage expert.

Kieran joined Marshall & Co in 2022 and is currently training towards his AAT qualification. He assists with all aspects of the preparation of VAT returns using cloud accounting software and assists the firms managers with accounts preparation work.

Amber joined Marshall & Co in 2023 and is currently training towards her AAT qualification. She assists with all aspects of the preparation of VAT returns using cloud accounting software and assists the firms managers with accounts preparation work. She also deals with the preparation of personal tax returns.

Jane began at Marshall & Co back in 2017 and has over 20 years of experience in accountancy. Having qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2006, she now deals with sole traders, partnerships and small to medium-sized limited companies in her day-to-day role. Jane is one of the Xero accredited staff at Marshall & Co.

Chloe joined Marshall & Co in 2014 immediately after finishing school. She completed her AAT and moved swiftly onto the Chartered Accountancy exams, which she is due to complete in the near future. Chloe deals with sole traders, partnerships, as well as small to medium-sized limited companies. She is also Xero-accredited.

Julie joined Marshall & Co in 1998 and is usually the first point of contact for clients phoning or calling in to see us. She deals with every aspect of ensuring that the practice runs smoothly from an administrative and client care point of view, as well as chasing in monies in the nicest possible way and dealing with Companies House on behalf of clients.

Jade joined Marshall and Co in 2023 and is AAT qualified and has a number of years of experience in accountancy. She is responsible for her own portfolio of clients that she prepares VAT returns for, as well as day to day bookkeeping. She also assists in other areas of the practice including personal tax and contractors monthly returns.

Lottie is a tiny bundle of joy who loves nothing more than cuddles and plenty of fuss. With her big eyes and even bigger heart, she brings warmth and smiles to everyone she meets. Whether she's nestled in someone's lap or making her rounds for ear scratches, Lottie is the perfect little companion to brighten our workdays.
